The St. Louis Blues are an American ice hockey team that compete in the National Hockey League. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, the Blues were founded in 1967 and named after the song of the same name by W. C. Handy.

1968
In 1968, Ron Schock scored a goal in overtime that saw the Blues beat the Minnesota North Stars and sent the team to the Stanley Cup Finals in their very first season.
1976
St. Louis Blues player Garry Unger became the NHL’s newest ‘Iron Man’, having played 631 consecutive games. Unger took the title from Andy Hebenton in the Blues’ 1976 game against the Los Angeles Kings.
1986
Known as the ‘Monday Night Miracle’, May 12th 1986 saw the most remarkable comeback in the Blues’ history. Greg Paslwaski scored two late goals that sent Game 6 into overtime at the Conference Finals, before Doug Wickenheiser scored the winning goal in overtime – becoming the St. Louis Blues’ hero.
1988
Two St. Louis Blues players reached career heights in 1988: Bernie Federko recorded his 1,000th NHL career point, and Brian Sutter scored his 300th goal in the NHL.
1990
Brett Hull netted his 55th goal of the year in 1990, playing against the Quebec Nordiques in a game that ended in a 9-2 home win for the Blues. In the same year, Hull broke the NHL record for the most goals scored by a right wing in one season, with 72 goals recorded.
2012
On March 31st 2012, the Blues entered their first Central Division Championship since the 1999-2000 season.
2016
Playing in the Stanley Cup against defending champions the Chicago Blackhawks, the Blues’ Troy Brouwer scored a goal with only 12:29 left on the clock. Brouwer’s goal saw the Blues claim a victory over their biggest rivals, and the team went on to reach the Western Conference Final.
2019
On 12th June 2019 the St. Louis Blues won
their first ever Stanley Cup. Achieving a 4-1 win against the Boston Bruins at
TD Garden, the Blues defeated a number of big teams on their way to victory
including the San Jose Sharks, the Dallas Stars and the Winnipeg Jets.
